Diet: Small mammals, birds, lizards and insects.
Other Information: Tawny Owls are the most common owl found in the United Kingdom. they are agressive birds and will kill competing barn owls and other birds of prey. they are mainly nocturnal and make the classic "twit-twoo" call. they have acute hearing and have even been known to destroy swallow nests in order to get to the young which they can hear inside.
